Description This pargasite in marble is from Luc Yen in the Yen Bei Province of Vietnam. This is a large area with several quarries and diggings. It contains 25 different gem and pegmatite minerals including pargasite. It is a silicate that contains the elements Na, Ca, Mg, Al, Si, O and H. This piece consists of a white marble matrix in which apple green pargasite crystals have been exposed by cutting and grinding the marble matrix away from the in situ crystals This piece measures 2 x 1 5/8 x 7/8 inches or 50 x 41 x 22 mm
